I bought a new 1986 GN and traded it for a new 1987 GN built in December 1987. The fit and finish on the 1986 was by far better on the 1986. The 1987 was garaged and the paint was still horrible within four years. So that may be correct that those extended cars were rushed through assembly.

Thought I would try again.... I am still searching for a pair of dark red, fabric, bench seat headrests and an armrest for my 87 Turbo Regal. My seat is in great condition but the headrests were removed and lost by a previous owner.

A sleeve and bore and it's as good as new. Don't pitch it. I'm sure there are many here that would take it.

Mine feels tight just before it closes due to the coil spring on the hood that keeps the hood biased on the latch. It's a pretty heavy spring.

I'm assuming that the GN headrest is for a gray bucket seat which I don't think will work on my bench seat. I have a nice pair of gray bench seat headrests but looking for the dark red fabric.

My system is set to run at 35 lps. so I'm not sure how setting the low pressure switch to 20 or 25 lbs would matter.

I'm curious, can anyone explain why the need to adjust the low-pressure switch? Doesn't it just tell the system that it has enough freon pressure to allow the compressor to turn on? What was the stock switch pressure setting?
