Glad you made it back to Cali DAD...

I'm going to have to take some photos of Bob's face after his ride in his BEAST...

That would be a sight! I just hope his heart is in better shape than the rest of him. Since he doesn't have a licence. His plan is to make half passe's, Meanwhile he's been driving it around long beach trying to get used to the car. He's all pumped for Thursday. Bob definitely has some maturity issues. Since we last ran it I've been thrashing on it going through the brakes,trans,convertor & air shifter. It's a full time job trying to keep ahead of something with that much H.P. & keeping it safe. The car should be good for low 5's @136 in the 1/8 & low 8's @ 170 in the 1/4 eventually. with that engine. The other engine ready to go in as soon as the present is worn out . Is a 377 cu.in with about 1,700 H.P. should go well into the 7's in the 1/4 the big question is the chassis capable & the local tracks good enough to hold that amount of power. Bob tends to be a little over the top with everything I can guarantee you It won't be me behind the wheel going that fast. even my stupidity has its limits. Maybe someone with brain damage like underboost would be a good candidate.

.. yep you will be in the rear view mirror due to you having to stop to pick up that stock lower end of your motor of the ground (lol)..

Well no 6's here I ran a 7.13 @ 95 and yes I did beat Nordy thru the traps with a r/t 515 10psi trans brake launch. But his times are much faster than mine :smile: . I just cut a good light :biggrin:
