16" Tires?

I see alot of talk on 15s and 17s but not alot on 16s

I put my rear rims & tires on today (16s obviously) and I think I want a beefier tire out back. Not wider, taller. My current tire size is 245/50 16s. Any suggestions for a taller (not wider) tire and what size. Car is slightly lowered (eibach springs)

Just for the record, the tires are the Nitto 450s.

On my 16" GTAs on my GN, Im now running Nitto Drag Radials on the rear which are 245/50R16s. I used to run Sumitomo 245/50R16 front tires, but didnt like how it looked.......so I just got some 225/50R16s for the fronts last week. Looks pretty good.

On my Ttype, I just picked up some GTAs for that car too. It will be getting the old front tires off the GN......Sumitomo 245/50R16s, and the rears will get brand new Sumitomo 255/50R16s. HTH

don't think you will have much luck finding anything taller than a 50 series that doesn't have mud tread. I think you only choice will be M&H or MT DOTs

Yeah, I just did some research and that's what I figured out.
