This is something ive noticed on almost all 2004Rs that ive built or ridden in. What changes hydraulically when it comes to the 2-3 while going from a roll rather than a stop(this is even noticalbe when just normal part throttle driving). Stopping and going WOT through all the gears, the 2-3 is noticalby softer (still very firm) but lets say i drop the hammer from a 40 roll and let it wind out... it bangs the 2-3 very hard(more comparable to a hard 1-2 shift). I've noticed this with trannys that were both dual fed and not dual fed. Does something bleed down or not have as much time to build up the required fluid? I figure its just some inherent design quirk with the tranny, but was just curious if anybody had an explanation or if anybody else had even noticed it?
