Wondering when was this type of adjustable wastegate produced and if an adjustable wastegate ever was used from the factory?
The one i;m curious about is off of an 86 GN, with an early vin. My buddy bought the GN brand new from the dealer in 86 and never cut or modified it but it is adjustable. We have found some other crazy things on his car but I am wondering because the wastegate on my 87 was the type where you cut it and thread both ends, and put a screw piece in the middle. That modification doesnt look possible with this type of wastegate. Did buicks come with multiple styles?
