On one of my GNs (87) that I never drive, Took it out of the garage on sunday and the volt light stayed on, rebuilt alt was installed last fall, acouple hundred miles at the most. Not charging, checked all connections. Took it back yesterday and they said the voltage reg burned out, Fixed at no charge! Installed it and light went out and all was well!Drove it a couple of miles and all seemed well. Went to start it again and the light is back on. Any ideas what could be going on? No volt booster, I do have a underdrive crank pulley that does not charge well at idle. Thanks Dave
