attaching gauge end to Poston's long FP gauge hose?

For the long Poston FP gauge unit that can go under the wiper for test n tune, do you attach the gauge end to the hose end with the blue fitting or to the other. Does it matter? TIA

Will both ends screw on to the fuel rail? If so then it doesn't matter. If only one end will screw on to the fuel rail then the other end goes to the gauge.
