Boxed A-Arms?

I was cleaning up my front A-arms the other day, and just got to wondering if anyone has welded a plates to the bottom of the them to stiffen them up, essentially boxing them in? Maybe there isn't even a need or you wouldn't notice a difference...

Anyway, just a thought...any input would be appreciated...

only some circle track guys do that also some guys that use hydros.

If your gonna auto-X your TR, MAYBE it's worth it, but how practicle is a TurboBrick (no, not a Type-O) on a Road course?
