View attachment 294854 Im wondering how to go about fixing this. I was thinking just some light sanding and then paint with Kirbans grey. Just kinda like to know if this will work or not. Thanks Gene

Was it originally a black ( dark gray ) 84 dash or something? If I lightly sanded it, I would hit it with the SEM vinyl surface prep. It should turn out very nice with SEM presidio or the Kirban brand.

Hey thanks man. Obviously i know where to get the kirbans paint, could you help me with the SEM where to find. As far as i know its original grey color, its just old dude. All those gauges going as i ordered new dash from gns and i have the GN plaque to go back in. Just dont want to change entire dashboard out, thanks again for the help

Yeah it looks like it was painted before. Possibly painted with incorrect paint or bad prep. I fixed a 78 Camaro dash once using acetone to strip the old paint and clean it then used SEM black to repaint. Body supply shops and upholstery shops carry SEM and Eastwood among other online retailers
