Anyone have experience with Dave's DIY home build kit?

I'm considering that option. I'd rather have Dave build my trans, but we are on opposite sides of the Country.

I live close by Dave I can’t even imagine what shipping a Trans back and forth would be with todays prices.

There are guys that are successful in using his kits
But.....
Having him build it is well worth it.
He spends alot of time on 200 builds and
For good reason.
I would highly advise he do it.
Especially a 200.
But if you really feel you up to the task and want to go through the ins and outs then yes his kit can will work with his guidance.

Shipping sucks
My friends literally drive to the builders in different states cause it's worth the shipping cost now

Shipping is crazy right now, i got a $500 quote to ship a rear to Erie PA. 6-hrs away, use to ship cars for cheaper smh

What’s all included in his kit?

Before purchasing the kit, find out if it requires lathe or mill work, or any special tools to do it. If it does, then shipping it will look to be a better idea.

Me personally I would send it out. It will be cheaper in the long run.
