Fast 1/8th Slow From There

Since you have the stock springs in the car and those short tires the car is probably flatlining after the 1000ft mark thats how my dads car is.

uummm...an average running TR should pick up 20, a decent running one will pick up 25 mph

So seeing a 20 mph gain while the ECM is pulling 28° timing due to knock (on a 19° chip) is prolly pretty good?

Did the valve springs cure it?

I would like to know because a fellow GN owners car onlu picks up like 15-16 mph from 1/8-1/4 mile.

He has an ATR front mount,THDP, postons headers and 206/206 cam, TE-44 at 25psi and cam 2 fuel, 2800 converter, and GN1'S. I made a pass in his car and was:confused:

After reading this thread I think maybe it's his chip.

I havent had a chance to put them on, i dont have a valve spring tool to do it out in the parking lot, so im just going to do it when i take my engine apart this winter.
