From 1 3/8" rear bar to a HR bar

Has anyone went from, let's say an ATR 1 3/8" bar to a HR rear bar? I would like to know their thoughts on how much better it reacts.

I am looking to upgrade my bar, but do not have the money for a HR bar right now. Heck, I don't even have it for an ATR either, LOL... But I was curious of the thoughts of someone that changed from that direction.
