Looking for my old 1983 T Type, seen it?

Hello all!
Back in the late 90's and early 2000's my father and I restored an '83 t type. After I left north eastern PA my dad sold the car, I believe on Ebay around 2006 to someone in Florida. The last we heard from the new owner was shortly after the sale looking for paint codes, if I'm remembering correctly the new owner had a collision with a garbage truck. We saw the car pop up on Ebay again around 2009 and haven't seen anything about it since.

I'd love to know what happened to it. I have the dream to someday get it back, but that's at least 2 years out when my wife finishes grad school. Now that I live in Florida I would be ecstatic if I was able to see the car in person.

Anyone know the car?

Might check with Don Cruz (Cruz Performance) in Tampa. He might have worked on it or provided parts.
Good luck and let us know if you find it.

Thanks! We certainly disagreed a lot during the process, like those god awful chrome wheels. But my dad is an old school muscle car guy, nothing looks better than a 14" chrome wheel to him.

I'm glad I had the chance to build the car with my dad. He sorely regrets selling it and I hope I can get at least one more car built with him. I know realistically it won't be THAT car, but It's worth a shot.

I've been digging around trying to find the VIN number. I've not had any luck with that yet, I'm hoping to find it yet. But after a decade pretty much everything we had on that car is gone.

Great resource! And only about 15 minutes from where I'm living now. I'll have to stop by there next time I'm in that area. Thank you!
