LT1 MAF How Much?

How Much do they normally cost? Is it worth changing to the LT1 MAF? If so where would I get one?

You can get them used for $40 to $60 on this board and may want to try the Camero BB. LS1 owners upgrade to the 3.5 inch MAF and sell their 3" ones. I recommend this sensor if your stock MAF is bad. New price is around $150.

I just began using the LT1 and trans plus with extender chip (Ramchargers). My car has never run better. The extender chip allows your ecm to read the additional airflow the LT1 is capable of measuring. The trans plus ($280) adds timing adjustments to the fueling adjustments of the translator($180). The translators are designed by Bob Bailey, TurboBob, and allow the newer MAFs to be used with our cars/ecms.

I think gmpartsdirect.com had the 3" for like $87. I didn't check shipping on that item.

How do you like the g-force tires? Are they KD or KDW?

They are KDW's and they make the car ride and handle a lot better.

Im thinking about getting one also, what is needed, just the new MAF or do i need either of the translators also?

You need one of the translators to change the chevy data into buick data.

LS1 or LT1 both work well. Settings on the translator for both.

Go to Ramchargers site and do a search lots of good info. there on the product.
