Muscle Car brackets

I was just reading the bracket class breakdown for the Muscle Car Challenge race meets and in the worst case ....
Whats with the "fast classes" running together. 7.58-11.99 on 1/4 mile tracks ?.

Maybe there are not enough cars to fill classes, but its not a good thing for a 180mph trap speed car to be passing a 112 mph trap speed car. NHRA wants us to follow saftey rules and then they allow this.
The 1/8 mile might be a little better on the speed issue, but the 1/4 mile should not happen in a "fun run". Some of the racers are professionals and some are not,

I agree as well but the few MCCC's that I have attended the fastest cars only a handful were in the 9's, with maybe one in the 8's.

I have seen none faster than 10.0 at a few of them as well, so is it a issue?? Who knows!
