Older Scanmaster update from small chip to 40 pin 2.2 chip?

I'm working on an older TR and it has a scanmaster installed which does not have the 40 pin chip, but does have the holes in the board to install one. I just added a Powerlogger to the car and would like to be able to update to the 2.2 chip so the scanmaster will function again.

Is someone offering this update for purchase? Mike at full throttle or TurboBob?

I would prefer not to purchase another scanmaster, I'd just like to make this one compatible if possible.
