On or Off

Should i put the starter on? I have the motor on the stand right now would be easier on the stand but don't know how easy it would go with it on while being drop into the motor bay. I took it off befor i pulled the motor.

If it fits in the car with it on the motor, then do it. I'm pretty sure it will fit. Are we still going to put it together Saturday? I'm ready to let someone else break their car now! Call me so I know if you want to do that this weekend, if not I'm going racing. See ya!

Sam its done just need to prime the motor. I have mikes daughters wedding to go to. So who knows when i can drop it it but its done finally. We brought it down hear at my house Sunday so i been messing around with it. I will call you when i am ready for some wrenching.

Not a good idea to put the starter on before installing motor.

First, if the trans is in the car, doubt if you can get the motor mounts to line up as the starter interefers with the crossmember?.

Second, to install motor mount bolts with the starter in place is VERY difficult.

So, it could probably be done, but it make the whole job much more difficult.
