Possible ground wire for gauges?

I have been bitten by the electrical gremlins all of a sudden. In my 87 GN I looked at my Oil pressure/Water temperature gauges were reading 0's. Immediately I stopped the car and checked my fluids which were all normal. Then I noticed this little White wire with a bad terminal was barely connected to the Black junction box shown. I inspected the back of the gauges and their connections are nice and tight, but I'm not sure where they go.
Any ideas?

thats your ALDL port, most likely the white wire is from your scanmaster and it was plugged into one of the terminals in the front. second from the left i believe (E). it looks like someone clipped half a spade connector to jack right into the front, most peeps will splice into it from the rear leaving the ALDL accessible.

are you seeing any data from the scanmaster?

Also , check the power fuse that the gauges are plugged into, or just start looking at fuses and see if you find a bad one. not to hard to trace where the power is going from your gauges. if that passes, check to make sure your ground is still connected from the gauges as well.
