Probably a boat pan. It will NOT fit in a GN. The sump is located right were the cross member is. Maybe a prototype for a FWD application. Not a Busch pan either. They would at least have a kick-out on the R/H side of the block. Most circle track pans that I have dealt with/built were sheet metal and have a big sump on the R/H side of the engine. (go fast.........turn left........ The oil is glued to the R/H side of the block and pan. )
The sump is in the front...not the rear where the cross-over would be. What is the purpose of the vertical bosses (w/hole) on both sides at the rear? Could this be a Indy car pan or an Indy Light pan?
