Speed sensor

Looking for a speed sensor where do I find one in the junk yard, as I don't have a buick cluster for the speedo..

First, they are different between analog and digital dash. On the analog any 1984 to 1990 GM vehicle with a carb on the motor and an analog dash is a safe bet. Or any NA Buick LeSabre,Estate Wagon,Riviera or NA Regal should do as there are millions of them out there. If by chance you have digital than any 84 to 88 GM vehicle with a digital dash will work. A little more harder to find but digital was a common option for Riviera and Toronado.

I am prob going to put in a VDO guage cluster. The thing I am worried about is that the comp can tell how fast the car is going for converter lock up.
