stat removal

hello peoples: Any of youz have any tricks to make the job easier. It should be easier next time as I took the stat out 4 a flush. I will be gonnin back to it soon.

hello peoples: Second time went a lot easier and the correct size socket helps. I did snot have the stat housing quite flush so there was a leak. Besides a extension I pushed down on the S hose to get to it better. That S hose is a pain.

It is really stuck the first time. Lots of penetrating oil left to soak, leave the rad hose on so you have something to grip and wiggle it endlessly until it finally comes out.
