Stupid non-TR tire question

I have a set of Goodyear Eagle GT tires on my 70 Vette that actually have raised "yellow" letters on them. I had them mounted with these letters on the inside and now it's just a complete blackout on the outside on 15" tires. Just looks funny to me. I miss the raised white letters on the outside; is there a white paint I can use to make them white without damaging the rubber and have it also last. Thanks for any help.
