TA-- S-E heads

For those of you who are running these heads (especially on the street) what did you do on the exhaust side as far as seals. I had the seals left off mine and now I'm getting some smoke only on startup.Thanks

I use viton seals on the exhaust side, but lightly ream them before installing them. I used to run without the seals and got tired of the smoke and oil.

Ran with the white teflon ones (Manley) on both sides. No smoke or oil burn.

I ran the teflons at first and had problems with them holding onto the guide. The retainer clips didn't have enough tension. The viton seals I got from TA had much better retainers. I'm sure others have had good luck with the teflons though. I just got a bad taste from them.
