It's my understanding that there are two types of Thrasher chips floating around out there for MSD 50's. First off you have what would best be described as the "developemental" chip. As far as I know this is an almost complete chip that Tom was working on at the time he decided to end Thrasher developement. Secondly you have a "hacked" Thrasher going around that is merely a Thrasher 92 for stock injectors "hacked" to work with the 50's. I've heard that the latter will do some funky stuff here and there possible b/c of the anti-tamper code put into the Thrashers. Anyone have any more info on these two? Also, I purchased a Thrasher for 50's. The guy I bought it from doesn't know which it is. I have access to pull the bin off the chip once it comes in and check it out,.....is there any way I can tell by looking at the stuff in the chip which one it is? Thanks.
