Turbo on a Mustang

I know this question is not about TR's but my uncle is going to try to put my old TA-49 on his Mustang. It's and '89 LX with a '98 Cobra motor. He wanted me to ask if it's possible to make it a true dual exhaust. Thanks for any help.

That's easy to answer..NO

You can make it a dual after the downpipe. That's the only way that I know how.

Or just go with two turbos!!!! Then you can make it true dual.

The price to fabricate an exhaust system is going to be astronomical. He must have way more money than I do.(thats not saying much)

I've got a friend who just did one and another who's in the middle of one. Fab work wasn't that bad, but I think he may be a little disappointed with the 49 though.

No, he doesn't have a lot of money. Actually he doesn't have any money. He stays home and watches his 2 kids and his wife works. He found a place that sells prebent tubing and some other stuff to try to make his own turbo kit. As for the TA-49, he's getting it from me for free and he just wants to see if he can make it work and then he'll get a better turbo. Thanks guys.
