I just bought a new computer and would like to run TLink on it sometimes. BUT, it is a XP operating system. Has anyone been able to run TLink on XP?
Ken, can it be done?

If you boot from the TurboLink master diskette (which boots to Win98), it should run, but you may not be able to see your harddisk, if it is formatted with NTFS. If it is formatted FAT, you'll be able to run it from the harddisk, otherwise you'll be limited to floppy.

XP locks out access to the hardware from DOS modes (like NT/2000 does). BTW, we are an MSDN shop at my company and we kind of view XP as a Microsoft virus :) ...

Same...But maybe an answer

I also got a laptop from the Misses for Christmas.Has home XP.

Saw you problem.Today went digging into this XP. Originally had it working. But the system stopped!!!

Went back to the laptop.Found in advaced files. After reading Ken's trick on TURBOLINK BB.There is a provision for
MS DOS. I have a SONY:confused:

Anyway I think after I get rid of the two versions I stuck in I should be alright.

Hope this helped. If you want ot E-me,please feel free.

There has to be an answer
