What are the differences of the GN wheels from year to year?
Do they all look the same except for the GNX?
Is there a size difference?

Thanks! Great pictures!
It looks like I need a set of the 86/87 GN wheels.
Are they 15x7?

What's it mean when someone say's good core wheel. That mean they need to be rechromed?

if somethings a good 'core' its cuz theres something wrong with it, but it could be revived from a restoration. For most normal steel wheels, unless theyre bumped or badly rusted, you could pretty much do the resto yourself to save some money, as most people want like 200 or more per gn wheel in show condition.... screw that. get out the sand paper and buffing wheels... save a hundred or more per wheel...

GN wheels

The 84 & 85 GN wheeks have approximately 1/8" less backspace than the 86 & 87 TR wheels.
I use the 84 & 85 GN wheels on my T Type to clear the 12" Baer brakes. I blasted the paint off them & they look like the original TR wheels. I had 2 of them widened to 9" for the rear.
