I have a 87 GN with 32k miles i bought the car about two months
ago. It's all stock just took what i believe to be the original
ac delco air filter out and put in a K&N.a friend gave my his old hypertech chip but i haven't put it in yet.I wanted to find out what
is the best chip for a stock GN? and what kind of bolt on upgrades
can i get but keep the car stock.Would be happy running in the
mid to low 13.s?

there are lots of excellant chip burners out there jim testa, joe lubrant, etc..... but i would also recommend upgrading you fuel pump and getting youself a scanmaster:D

I'll second the fuel pump/ adj. fuel regulator upgrade. I really like the TurboTweak chips by Eric Marshall. For a good, cheap chip to experiment with you can't go wrong with a Thrasher for $25.

You might want to do stock chip or hypertech until you get everything exactly where you want it to be.

Also, don't get a thrasher until you can get a new pump/regulator.
