Ok looking for a JL Audio that hits hard ,want a 12" sub for weight savings (instead of 2 10"ers)

please recommend a single 12" that will meet my needs, very good bass,,but not ghetto like:) :)

Does this seem like a good sub (MA120xe) for $89,this link gets you to the subs so remember this number(MA120xe)
http://www.audio-n-more.com/maaudio/ma_audio_woofers.shtml

please help,,looking to spend near $200

I just went through this and after all my research finally settled on this sub:
http://www.edesignaudio.com/ep2/12o.htm
The site says it is $195.00 ut when you go to purchase it is $179.00.
Take a look at the K series as well...

The MA subs aren't terrible but there is much better to be had for the same money

other things to consider:
Box size and power handling. Make sure you get a woofer that fits your needs in that area as well.

Haven't recieved my 12O44 yet (out of stock for a week), but I will let ya know how it works out.
Elemental designs also has a pretty good forum...if you want to do some reading:

I've made 90% of my audio purchases on ebay the last ~5 years or so & haven't had a single problem. May want to try a search there, just be sure and only buy from sellers with very good feedback. :)

Are you going to be using the sub in a sealed or ported box? How many watts will you be throwing at it?

I have a Lanzar Vibe 1200D,,that should thro some watts out:cool:

I am looking for a Light weight setup, thats why I want 1 12" sub ,and the smallest footprint in the trunk..

the square kickers make unbeliveable bass and ig you dont want ghetto bass just use a smaller amp or turn down the gain a little

You got a 12O44 good for you. You had said a 12D, that's why I was confused, there never was a 12 D :)

Let me know how you like it...I haven't received mine yet (out of stock) Impatiently waiting :(
