who is going to vegas for the gn / supra event, when are you leaving, etc. just wanting to see if there will be a caravan from the phoenix area, dan.

I'm going, not from phoenix though. I will have to leave early sat. morning as my job just won't permit time off this time of year. :)

What day is it? I might depending on if I get my tranny and fix some seals. BUt I would be leaving from LA.

Fri. the 14th and Sat. the 15th. Fri is test and tune, sat is pretty much open to whoever wants to race. The club can't afford to rent that big of a facility just for the buicks. :)

When did it become night time racing only? Every time I've been, which is evry time this event has happened, the races are all day long and continue into the night. :)

I think that you are asking in thje wrong place, Stu. I think that you need to redirect your query to where the original post is. I am not too excited about it, either, and as a consequence, I am not really sure that I am going this year. Saturday during the day there is some type of car show going on. I would much rather go to the races during the day and party at night, so this is not exactly optimum for me. Night time racing and looking at Buicks in the dark is better than no racing and no buick looking.

wish i could go but im still gn-less as the engine is at the machine shop  , after that it goes to the paint shop  , on the bright side it will be great when i get it back, im aiming for end of jan.

If it makes a difference, the Vegas track is well lit at nightime.

If I have to hang around the casino all day drinking waiting for the track to open I am going to be pretty well "Lit" myself. After enough alcohol, who needs artificial lighting anyway.
J/K, Silvedr "T" Top, thanks.

The track is, the lot is not, as many will find out when trying to work on their cars, better bring lots of lights and generators!
