I understand that someone makes a bracket that attaches to the front frame hornes so a ttype can be winched onto a trailer without trashing the air dams with the winch cable. Does anyone know who this is? Thanks for any help..

Kirbans sells the bracket or at least they did at one time. I have seen similar items in places like Northern tool. It is basically a "T" shaped hook that goes into the slotted holes on the side of the front frame rails.

You need some frame hooks like the ones listed here Towing Hooks | Truck n Tow.com
I used these for years. What I had to do was use a block of wood placed as a spacer between the frame and the cable to keep the cable from bending the air dams.

Thanks alot for the information guys. I kind of thought that was how I would have to do things and I also went to a friend of mine that has tow trucks and he said "yep" you need J-hooks and a block of wood on each side and probably a harness. We are working on it now. Thanks again. Bruce
