first, i was wondered what the factory did to the reveal molding to make it black?..paint..powdercoat...?

then, i was wondered what i'd have to do to take the chrome version off a regular regal and make it match my existing black-out trim?

the stock treatment, whatever they used, seems to hold up well to debris without chipping...

i am doing a frame off this winter and wondering the same thing. how to take off the front and rear window molding off without bending it

there is a special trim removal tool availlable from most car parts retailors. It has a hook design and it slides under the moulding and you slide it down and then twist it and it releases the clips that retain the moulding.

the clips are plastic and typicaly break, metal replacements are available from the dealer. I still have a bunch of them I'm looking to get rid of.

i would like a set of the clips for the front, and the rear if you have them also.
shipping is mount prospect, il 60056. i will get the tool tommarow.
