I have a 84 Grand National, as well as the the 84 WH1 I drive around the streets;) I want to keep the WH1 as close to stock as possible and just enjoy cruising it around. The 84 Grand National was an older drag car and the motor is built up and ready to be put back in, but I was wondering seeing that I have to much time on my hands. If I put twin turbos on it without any intercooler would it still be a hot air car? I want to get it down into the 8's:eek: Just wondering what you guys think:biggrin:

No intercooler= hotair, no matter what the other mods are. Mine has been intercooled since it's early days but I retained the factory setup so I considered it an "intercooled hotair" since everything is in it's original locations, just a bunch of intercooler plumbing.

As for 8s with a hotair, it would have to be a 276" stageII 14.0:1 methanol motor.

No need for twins, a big single will get the job done just as well and cheaper.

Everywhere I have read said you can't bring a hot air car lower then 9's:mad: So I figure twins could fix that:cool:
