ZR1 vs. Regular C4

I know the obvious differences like the motor, but what about the suspension, rear end, and trans? What is different?

Is the FX4 suspension package on the 90's C4 the same as the ZR1?

I rode in a ZR1 once and was very impressed overall. I also drove a '96 6 speed Vette and the suspension felt sloppy.

FWIW & IMHO:
I have a 23K mile '02 Z06 and there's no slop in it. You might want to do a search on:

I kicked around a zr1 before I got my Z06. Everybody said that the Z06 is ahead in engineering. Just my opinion, no flaming intended.
However, Z06's will continue to drop in value somewhat while the ZR1's will continue to appreciate somewhat in value.

I'm not looking to buy a Vette now. I was just curious if the FX4 suspension in a standard C4 is different than the ZR1, or if it is a completely different suspension altogether?
