Thank you for that link, I didn’t see that post in my searches. Post #18 in that link shows a good picture of the engine bay but you can’t see the back of the oil filler neck where the hose nipple is. Every picture of a 3.8 turbo engine I find online is from the front so I can never see this...

Here is a picture of the oil filler neck. I know almost nothing about this car’s history but when I got it there was no hose attached here and I can’t find any pictures online that show it.

I looked over the engine bay today and the PCV valve is right across from this plug on the drivers side rear of the intake manifold, the hole it sits in is very similar to the other side that’s plugged. Could this be an alternative PCV valve location used on different years or applications?

I’m working on my 85 Riviera 3.8 turbo and there’s a round plug on the rear passenger side of the intake manifold, anyone know what this is for? The one on my car and my parts car are both dry rotted, anyone have a good solution for a new one? Thanks!
