thanks for everyones help 45 miles into the new motor a rod started knocking. so i put my 377 ci chevy back into it. i lost a but load of money on this adventure. now i have 3 turbos 4 motors 4 cranks and so on:eek:
well i bought a turbonetics external wg today. hope this will solve my overboost problem? the deligate has alot bigger hole than the internal wg, even after i elarged it. so i guse the best way to mount it is at an angle towards the header, on the up pipe?
i have a overboost problem i now have the actuator unhooked and a spring keeping the wg open, iam buying a new boost gauge as mine only goes to 10 for boost and iam pegging it. gues i need to hog out the wg or buy and external huh? wished i had the gas to go with the boost this thing would fly;)...
thanks for the info a bolt was missing on the right front(turbo brace) caused a huge vacuum leak fixed now for the first time:D now going to buy a new acuator just having a over boost problem this i can deal with thanks for your help
does it matter what kind of gasket you use here? i have a thick one like i use on chevys, the kit i bought for the carb came with 2 thin ones:confused:
did the other power valve with the check valve to the intake now it does this runs up to 2000 then dies just like a classic vacuum leak used the carb cleaner to locate leak and nothing. took turbo off(what a pain) put new gaskets in, changed nothing. re-torqued intake bolts. (used felpro). iam...
