didn't they put the diesel in the 81 regal?! My old man bought an 78 olds delta 88 at the car show that year. Thought they only sold them for a couple years, not enough demand.

i second the fuel issue. when you turn the key to the on position (engine off) do you here te fuel pump?

Monroe TB? could have a different Stonger spring. Other than that if any one of those cables is frayed it's going to make it feel harder. Iwould also check the T v cable where it connects at the tranny. Oh and just disconnect them all at the TB you should find which one is giving you trouble.

check the lenght of those bolts, make sure they are not too long. Had this happen with my new T A covers. Had to trim about an 1/8 off the bolts:mad:

i picked up a set a couple of months ago. Perfect fit and good quality. The motor is still on the stand and getting the final touches, but the headers slipped right on, no issues. My only concern once i had them on was that you can forget about a re-torque on the heads with the headers in place:(
