    Cylinder balance test ?

Juan, what issue are you chasing? Or just want a health check in general? I worked on a 5.3 L's Tahoe that passed a leak down test and compression test but failed the compression test with the engine actually running. Which I did a comparison between a good cyl and the bad one. The bad...

    FEC vs E% table

Meaning it shouldn't hurt the engine. Corrosion could be a problem though.

    FEC vs E% table

I think extra water would waste some power but build in some safety factor, no?

    Which Fuel Pump Check Valve?

Not too late! They will add it to your pump still. Just take it out and send it to them. I just googled "dw400 no check valve" and the PDF is there near the top of search.

May 5th 2019 they released a bulletin where they will add the valve to your pump for free. I'd do that fo sho !

Pushrod wall thickness and spring pressure

I would prefer the stronger heavier pushrods to the lighter possibly more flimsy ones. Better control of the valves should be the result. You're prob not chasing every last rpm, I assume?

    XFI warm start problem

A cold engine will still run OK with the wideband reading 13 to 1 or so. A bunch of the fuel will puddle and not really support combustion. The mixture you're throwing at it will be much richer, but won't read as such on the wideband. Agree Your hot start definitely sounds rich since wot...

    Torque Converter Questions

The convertor reacts only to the torque going into it. 12 psi would almost double the engines torque vs 0 psi.

    Help-Intermittent Electrical Gremlin!!

For an intermittent pump problem like this it might be worth it to run a semi permanent test light circuit back to the pump. So when it does it you will know for sure. Power at light but no prime equals bad pump for sure.

How about if you get the rpms and speed higher, say 70mph and repeat pedal on and off. Still do it?

Checking Spring Tension in Belt Tensioner

I was just thinking, you may have a belt that is too long. The part number at most stores has been too long.

Checking Spring Tension in Belt Tensioner

It could be checked with a torque wrench but someone will have to measure a known good one and tell you the findings.

Checking Spring Tension in Belt Tensioner

Should take quite a bit of force to move it. Definitely not 20 inch lbs.

    Pulling axles

Most likely cause of vibration at highway speed, wheel balance or wheel weight fell off or rim bent or drive shaft balance or bad tire.

    Pulling axles

Put the axles back in and use a dial indicator. A simple test; With the car on jack stands running it at idle in drive it should be obvious if the flanges are bent or straight to the naked eye.

    20- bolt oil pan baffle

That's not the point. To uncover the oil pickup the oil has to go somewhere else ie slammed to front of the block right? Maybe he's not uncovering it at all and some other event is occurring or is bogus data to start with.

Engine smoking at idle , oil in intake GN1R heads

Maybe the intake gaskets were misaligned sucking oil, but we may never hear the answer after 3 years. Doh!

    20- bolt oil pan baffle

Seems to me the baffle is more for hard take offs not hard braking. A must have for a drag car but not sure it will help with hard stops at .7 g and more.
