Just got my truck back on the road thought I would share.
It's a 1994 c1500 short bed
Was 4.3 v6 5 speed truck with 218000 miles on it. In January I picked up a 1982 camero that had a 1987 gn drivetrain. The guy I got it from had it since it was built in the 90s. He believed it had about 78000 miles on it and had been sitting for about 4 years. I flushed it cleaned it and got it running then pulled the drivetrain. On May 1st I pulled my 4.3 out and dropped the gn in a few days later. It's been a rough and expensive 3 months but it's been on the road for about 3 weeks. Finally got it dialed in and all my factory truck gauges working. Still need to do a few things a/c. Wiring and mounting all the relays and things nicely. But it's now a driving project.
A big thanks to everyone at
full throttle speed
For the info and parts. Very helpful and fast shipping.
