Here is the problem:

Driving around town under low throttle the transmission does not really leak. Once a brief 2-4 second WOT run is done, the trans leaks a lot from the front seal area.

The front pump has been replaced & it still leaks. The front seal has been replaced and it still leaks. The front seal/pump were in perfect condition and the seal was never torn or damaged when inspected yet the leak continues. Even the trans case itself has been replaced. The converter was also inspected.

Possible reason?

Being that the leak happens under mid-WOT, could the pressure in the transmission be so high that it causes fluid to dump out of the front seal where the converter hub sits in the front seal of the trans? A possible pressure problem with the front pump stator or valve body?

pump/seal leak

Has the pump drain hole been enlarged as in the "sticky" at the
top of this tech section? Was a new pump bushing installed with Locktite? Maybe the "O" ring around the pump was twisted during installation. The weld at the base of the converter's hub
could have a pinhole, or the hub could be cracked where it drives
the rotor.
