Are the TTA 200r and the GN 200r directly interchangeable, I read somewhere that the speed sensors were different and I'm trying to avoid a mess If I exchange mine (TTA) for a GN trans. My transmission guy has made four attemps and just says the car is making too much power, 12 second car give me a break!!!!
There are a few subtle differences. One is speedo drive which is no big deal. But , TA's are 327 geared vs the 342. There are a couple of shift valve differences and if not addressed could be a problem. If it were me, I would repair what you have and keep it. Vin's match, serials match and it is a TTA box. There are only 2500 TTa trans' out there.
