If I can remember correctly, if you have a stock cam you don't want to shift over 4500 becasue you will start losing power. It may actually even be less than that. I've had my GN for over 4 years had 3 different cams and never had a stock one so maby someone else could chime in...
 
stock cam lift and duration with stock turbo/convertor = no more than 5100-5200 rpm.
