Well I think you will find that this swings both ways, 3.8-4.1. I have ran a built 3.8 and found with a smaller turbo that is was fine. I run a t-70 and I am going bigger soon. I find that the t-70 spools very quick with the extra cubes. Plus the extra torque of the 4.1 make street driving very nice. I have not had any issues running a 4.1 other than the cost of the pistons. Bought a new set from JE and paid $675. All the other parts are just the same, heads, cam, intake and so on. I have gone in the high tens with this on pump gas. I may run a tank of race gas to see what I will run, but I have no cage so the thought of rolling this thing at the track my keep me from trying to see how much power these will handle. Just have the front of the block drilled and tapped for the drain tube. Hope this helps.
