4.1 bored .030 over = 252 cubes ?

What ARP head studs can i use on the 4.1 ? what headgaskets ?

part #s please

Any idea of what my compression ratio would be ?

I'm running ported iron 8445 heads on a 84 buick 4.1 production block casting #25506484 bored .030 over

Thanks Jim :)

Jim,

A .030" over 4.1 is actually closer to 257 cu in by my calculation. A stock 4.1 is 252 cu in. In regard to your head stud question, you'll need the same stud as the early 3.8 liter block which is shorter than the one for a 86-87 block. I don't have an ARP catalog handy so I can't give you a P/N.

Compression ratio is a result of many variables including deck height as measured by the machine shop after machining, combustion chamber cc's, gasket bore dia. and thickness, piston dish cc's etc. No one can answer that question without all the variables being known.

Gasket options are limited by the bore size. The only 3 gaskets I can think of are the Felpro 1007 (lockwire), 1000, and 1026. The latter 2 are really for a Stage II application. Cometic might have something on hand or can make a custom gasket based on your bore dia and desired thickness. BTW, this question should be in the general tech forum shouldn't it?
