I've decided to order some Telstars for my car but can't decide what size to go with. 15x8 in the rear but should I do 4" or 6" in the front? 4" looks pretty aggressive, but how practical is it for every day type driving? (I only drive the car once a week or two though). Will 6" and 8" look ok together? Pictures and suggestions very welcome.

I vote for a 4 in rim. Depending on how tall a rear tire you run , a 215/70 will look skinny, but ride nice & not do anything funny as them funny ass 165/R15 skinnies do. I run a 215/75 on a 4in Convo Pro. This will only look right if you run a 275/60 or so.

It's like playing Mario there are so many potholes in Saint Louis - hard to dodge. I just got some 15x6 Convo Pros.

The roads here in S. Fla are perfect...no potholes. I drive pretty hard, which was my only concern. I have 275/50 15 Nittos for the rear waiting to go on. How is braking and turning with the 4"s, Louie?

i had 4s on my car and with a stretch IC...it wasnt good....the skinnies' tire werent tall enough, so i bought 6's and got rid of the 4s...i think skinnies' on the front of a GN look goofy. my vote is for the 6's...HTH

Thats exactly the problem when you buy skinny skinies! I run tire thats not supper narrow but gives the look i want. Like i stated above evryone likes to run them 165/r 15s. Thats a VW tire LOL.
;)

Ian,
I have never had a problem with my combo. There is still plenty of meat on the tire to give you adequate braking and turning.
I have had to hammer on the brakes hard more than once and there was no funny stuff. At least no different than factory.

The only issue with your combo is that you are running a short rear tire . Therefore you will have to run a shorter tire. I believe Nitto makes a 195/70 front tire than would go well with the 4 in rim. My bud has them on his 3 in wide Pro Stars.

I just put on a set of Prostars 6" on the front with 205/70. With the 275/60's on the back it gives the look of a skinny without the ride issues and bent rims.
