7 1/2 inch ring gear standard, vs a 8 1/2 inch ring gear as in a GN
G80 is the RPO for posi or limited slip.
I'm looking for the standard rearend out of a G body car.
Stock Regal, Monte Carlo, Cutlass, Grand Prix.

I knew that much. I just wasn't sure if there was something better or stronger in the 7 1/2 set ups. Can you get a 7 1/2 in a posi too?

Yes you can get the G80 option with the 7 1/2 and it isnt stronger.
