86/87 ecu on an 85?

Can i just plug an 86/87 ecu into my 1985 gn without having to do any modifications to the wire harness?

Ive heard of people running 86/7 ecus on their 84/85's just never got a concrete answer. thanks guys.

No, you don't need to modify your wiring harness it's plug in... you can add the MAT sensor in(as the 86-87 IC cars)
came with it, otherwise Eric can delete it when you order the TT chip... the MAT sensor wiring kit is available from Casper's

It has a Mass airflow sensor on it.. It came like that.

What he means is- in the conversion you need to change to the 87 MAF or go with a translator and a Impala SS MAF or similiar...

i'm running my stock '84 MAF with the 87 ecm and it runs beautifully.
