'87 G/N spark plug gap?

Under the hood it says .035 and in the glove box manual it says .045. What's everone using? I have a tech sheet from GM and it also says .035.:)
 
.035 is correct. But, if running higher boost than normal most people gap down to .032.
 
When I had my 85 GN worked on the guy gapped the plugs at @ .045. Under WOT the car would pop and miss badly. I pulled the plugs, saw the gap ( which varied from .048 to .037 ) then installed new ones gapped at .035. Never a problem out of it as long as I owned her.
