87 GN Grill Plastic Type

I'm looking for the type of plastic an original '87 GN Grill is made from. The back portion of my grill, which has the spring bosses, has broken off and I'm looking at plastic welding it together.

Any ideas?

Not sure, but I fiber-glassed the back side of mine and replaced the springs. looks new.

GBodyParts states it's ABS http://www.gbodyparts.com/product_info.php?products_id=828 (gees, why wasn't it that easy to find earlier )

I think i will give the ole ABS cement a shot and then maybe do your fiber glass bit after. Couldn't hurt.
