Why?
What do you think it means?
What will it tell you?
And , they will all be different according to what "set up" is in the converter.

Joe, you kill me... LOL

What does it mean? Not really sure

This is funny! I love your sense of humor." Not really sure"... That is excellent! :D Let me know on the lock up thing. :D

For the record....

9X11's have a multiplication ratio of 2:1.. You do not get any better than that. If you are told that something is better than that then you are being bamboozled. They are just awesome.....:D

bamboozled. He! He!

You could always adapt a dual-stator 4L80E converter to a 200-4R. That'll be good for 3.5-to-1 torque multiplication. ;)

You could build one too...

So could you.........LOL

Bruce,
Funny thing is I really have no idea about anything that has to do with trannys....that's why I ask you, Lonnie, Mike K. etc... Really, the reason I wanted to know was so I could feel cool impressing the boys at the track with my new found knowledge:)
Ya see, when I can talk over the heads of the hoosiers (that's Kansan for red necks), they seem to think your some kind of car god....must be some kind of inadequacy I have or something???
I'll let ya know how my new TCC LU switch works, or doesn't work this comming Sunday at the track.

Later,

All converters offer some degree of torque multiplication. Fin angles, stator configuration and internal clearances all play a role in how much.

The D5, according to GM, has 1.84 torque multiplication.
